TITLE: “What do you want to be when you grow up? Steps to uncover God’s purpose for your life, starting today!”

We all want “God’s will” for our life, but secretly we may be a little afraid of what that might mean. We think to ourselves, “everyday God is calling people to Africa and Asia and if I ask Him what my purpose in life is, He’ll send me too, and I don’t want to go!!” Worse yet, perhaps we just don’t have any idea how to go about figuring out what His will really is for our life, especially when it comes to career, ministry, family, etc.. God has created you for purpose… He’s got something that He’d like you to do for the Kingdom, and the good news is, it’s gonna be a blast! This workshop will take you step by step through the beginning stages of figuring out what His purpose for you is, as well as help you set a game plan for living the incredible, fun, passionate life He’s designed for you.

10:00AM

TITLE: Dumpster Diving: Finding God in Unexpected Places

Most of us look at a dumpster and see a place to put trash. But some people look at a dumpster and see it as a place to find treasure. These people are dumpster divers – adventurers who believe they can find things of great value in the most unexpected place. If you have ever found yourself looking for God, if you have ever felt like God was hiding from you, then this session on Dumpster Diving is for you. In this challenging and thought-provoking seminar, Dave Rhodes will inspire you to not simply find God present in the pages of your Bible, but rather to use the pages of your Bible to find God present in your world—even in the places you least expect Him to be. Come and learn and live by seeing everything differently.

TITLE: Jesus, Love, and Rock & Roll:  Rediscovering the Importance of Worship

What is worship, anyway?  It seems in this fast-paced world of technological savvy and catch phrases, the word "worship" has lost its "umph."  But we are a generation of Christ followers who want to know Him intimately, to relentlessly fall head-over-heels in love with this miraculous Savior of ours, to desire absolute surrender to His perfect will.  WE WANT JESUS.  And we want to let Him know it.  Let's redefine worship, not in the context of the times we live in, not in the style of music we use to express it, but according to the desperate heart-cries of our spirits that reach out to His.

1:00PM

TITLE: The Lost Art of Courting

The  tricks, traps, and tests of dating the opposite sex can be a dangerous place to be as a young man.  Our goal in this session is to share some wisdom, insight, and knowledge concerning this rollercoaster of exploration and survival in a teenagers life. Through humor, true-life experience, and simple honesty Rob and Ken will share the ups and downs of dating.

2:00PM

TITLE: Holy Bold

Are people being drawn to Christ by YOUR life?  At age nine, Mercy Hope had known nothing but a life of poverty and domestic violence when she encountered the love of Jesus lived out through a group of radical Christ followers.  That experience motivated Mercy to challenge and equip others to “get their bold on” when it comes to sharing the life-saving love of the Savior. The whole world is a mission field - from the football star at your high school to the stinky homeless addict on the street – lost souls are waiting for Jesus’ touch which could come THROUGH YOU today as you become, “Holy Bold.”

TITLE: Resources to get the Job Done

Jesus' last word's to us as a church was a commission. In today's world the struggle is how do we accomplish this Great Commission? This break out session will explore God's Word to see the resources Jesus has given us to accomplish our commission. The students will be challenged to use the resources in God's Word to impact the world around them and instill a passion to be a part of building His Kingdom.

10:00AM

TITLE: Renegade Ambition

Who are you allowing to influence you?  Are you being pulled toward Christ or away from Him?  To be a renegade for Christ is to long to be God-taught, God-moved and God-inspired.  In a world full of conformists, Jesus is seeking those who desire transformation over information, His Voice over popular opinion, abundant life over merely existing, and an untamed faith over a life controlled by cultural norms and peer expectations.  Those attending this session will find a new flame igniting deep within, making  Jesus and the power of His Spirit their greatest ambition.

1:00PM

TITLE: Rock Solid Identity

Can Someone with Low Self-Esteem End Up Changing the World??   Mercy's early identity was shaped by her parent's divorce, an abusive step-father and living in poverty with no hope of "fitting in".  Today, as a leader for this generation, Mercy is passionate about encouraging others to refuse to be shaped by social and cultural standards, but rather renewing the mind to embrace living lives of freedom, joy and courage. This session will concentrate on defining who you are IN CHRIST JESUS according to His Word.
