Of course, Tait hardly needs an introduction. While newsboys charted 25 No. 1 pop hits, sold six million records, and helped Christian music gain mainstream acceptance, dc Talk was doing the same with GRAMMY-winning sets like Free at Last and Jesus Freak. Combining the strengths of these two groups now is clearly good reason for excitement.

The Afters

A clean slate. A fresh start. A renewed perspective. These are all things The Afters are thankful for.
After losing their longtime friend and manager to a two-year battle with pancreatic cancer, two band members deciding to part ways, a nearly life-threatening car wreck and a new member losing a close friend one week after joining the band, The Afters have never been more grateful for new seasons. And this season’s a good one. Holding on to their faith and their passion for making music, the new line-up—including founding members Josh Havens (lead vocals/keys/guitars) and Matt Fuqua (vocals/guitars), along with new members Dan Ostebo (bass) and Jordan Mohilowski (drums)—headed into the studio to craft Light Up the Sky (INO), the most accessible album of the band’s career.

“The story behind Light Up the Sky is a part of the story of all of us,” says Fuqua. “[It’s] a picture of what it looks like when you make it through [a] really challenging time, and you look back and see how God was using all of those things for good and that you were never alone.”

NewWorldSon

Formed in a jazz bar in Niagara Falls, Ontario, Canada, Newworldson musical style is very eclectic, but is principally soul music.

Singer Joel Parisien says "there's a lack of community in people's lives today. If you trace back the roots of 'roots' music, of 'soul' music, of 'folk' music, it's about folks; it's social music. We hope our fans become our friends. We hope they leave our shows feeling inspired. Our community is about uplifting people."

The group released their debut album, Roots Revolution, in 2006 followed up by Salvation Station in 2008.

Aaron Shust

It wasn’t the typical way to record an album: with your producer in Nashville and you in Aliquippa, Pennsylvania. With your wife and two year old son living in the hospital where your son is being fed through tubes because he can’t keep down any food or drink for more than 2 seconds and the doctors are running out of options to treat him. With your older son farmed out to friends for days at a time, and your grandmother dying, and you sitting in the car, in her driveway late at night, singing your scratch vocals into your cell phone to send to your producer. It’s not the script you would have written for yourself, but it’s the story you find yourself in the middle of, and somewhere, in the midst of the chaos, you find something else as well: You find that you’ve become acutely aware of the reality of your utter dependency upon God, and of the need to daily, constantly, embrace his promises and his presence.

It’s the sort of awareness that can impact the songs you write.

Jamie Grace

Jamie Grace, a 19-year-old singer-songwriter who is appearing as part of Women of Faith’s popular “Revolve Tour,” has been signed by Gotee Records, helmed by Joey Elwood and multiple GRAMMY ® winner TobyMac. Gotee Records’ will also launch Jamie Grace’s debut Hold Me e.p. digitally on February 22, with plans for a full project release in fall 2011.

Hailing from Atlanta, Georgia, Jamie Grace is a college student who aside from her career and touring as a singer-songwriter, is also studying children’s ministry. At age 11, Jamie Grace was diagnosed with Tourette Syndrome, and has since traveled the country sharing her story and faith through music and speaking.

Elishah

For the better part of the last decade, Elishah has been changing the way Christian rock is viewed in the western regions of North Carolina. After several stylistic changes, a lot of prayer and practice, and more than a little help from producer/mentor Ricky Rodriguez (Bombhouse Studios), the members of Elishah have brought something new to the ears of their listeners, most notable in their latest release, Nothing’s Broken (Jan. 2009).

Jme Medina has impacted todays youth and adults with her positive lyrics and mainstream beats in a powerful way! Jme is currently working on her second Record with 5 time Dove Award Nominee and Producer Victor "Liquid" Oquendo(Toby Mac, Out of Eden, Grits, Dj Maj, John Reuben, MTV, The WB's, America's Top Model,Petey Pablo, Liquid, etc...), and will hit stores and radio networks in spring 2012.
