NewsboysGenesis, Petra, Van Halen. They all did it. Many legendary acts have introduced a new lead singer amidst their career without missing a beat. So when newsboys announced that dc Talk vocalist Michael Tait would take over for exiting front man Peter Furler—after a natural period of surprise—the band and its fans alike began to relish the positives and possibilities of this fresh start. And all signs would point to a phrase loaded with creative and spiritual significance that has become the title of newsboys’ album, Born Again.Of course, Tait hardly needs an introduction. While newsboys charted 25 No. 1 pop hits, sold six million records, and helped Christian music gain mainstream acceptance, dc Talk was doing the same with GRAMMY-winning sets like Free at Last and Jesus Freak. Combining the strengths of these two groups now is clearly good reason for excitement. To hear some of Newboy's songs, go to: |

The AftersA clean slate. A fresh start. A renewed perspective. These are all things The Afters are thankful for. “The story behind Light Up the Sky is a part of the story of all of us,” says Fuqua. “[It’s] a picture of what it looks like when you make it through [a] really challenging time, and you look back and see how God was using all of those things for good and that you were never alone.” To hear some of The After's songs, go to: |

NewWorldSon
Formed in a jazz bar in Niagara Falls, Ontario, Canada, Newworldson musical style is very eclectic, but is principally soul music. Singer Joel Parisien says "there's a lack of community in people's lives today. If you trace back the roots of 'roots' music, of 'soul' music, of 'folk' music, it's about folks; it's social music. We hope our fans become our friends. We hope they leave our shows feeling inspired. Our community is about uplifting people." The group released their debut album, Roots Revolution, in 2006 followed up by Salvation Station in 2008.

Aaron ShustIt wasn’t the typical way to record an album: with your producer in Nashville and you in Aliquippa, Pennsylvania. With your wife and two year old son living in the hospital where your son is being fed through tubes because he can’t keep down any food or drink for more than 2 seconds and the doctors are running out of options to treat him. With your older son farmed out to friends for days at a time, and your grandmother dying, and you sitting in the car, in her driveway late at night, singing your scratch vocals into your cell phone to send to your producer. It’s not the script you would have written for yourself, but it’s the story you find yourself in the middle of, and somewhere, in the midst of the chaos, you find something else as well: You find that you’ve become acutely aware of the reality of your utter dependency upon God, and of the need to daily, constantly, embrace his promises and his presence. It’s the sort of awareness that can impact the songs you write. To hear some of Aaron Shust's songs, go to: |

the Outpouring
Bonded together by their passion to build God's kingdom, The Outpouring is a group on a mission to build God's Church and change the world! From superb musicianship to powerful lyrics to dynamic song style, the band is equipped with many tools to engage listeners and inspire them to seek a deeper and more solid relationship with God through a lifestyle of worship. While the band endeavors to generate musical creativity, as well as inspiring songs, they also agree that aside from having a lifestyle of worship that is built upon the foundation of biblical truth, it's just a bunch of noise. And with a refined vision for ministry, as well as an unwavering conviction that our world is in desperate need of God's movement, The Outpouring knows they are responsible to do their part in bringing the presence of God wherever they go--whether it's in their own living room, a small restaurant, or in a crowded room of hungry believers.. |
