Mission Project Partner

Habitat for Humanity of Burke County is a local non-profit Christian organization that seeks to eliminate substandard housing allowing people to grow into all that God intends.  The guiding principles and practices of Habitat are faithful to the teachings of Jesus Christ. 

Habitat offers a self-help approach to homeownership for carefully selected families who join in partnership with Habitat to build their homes.  Habitat provides funds for construction.  Homes are sold to partner families at no profit through a no-interest
long-term mortgage loan. 

Volunteers and partner families build houses.  A licensed contractor manages the construction process. 

Habitat of Burke County is excited to partner with Momentum Worship and looks forward to offering a youth a place to put their faith into action.

Possible projects for Momentum Worship weekend include:
 
Younger youth will help to construct storage bins for trash containers and helping construct outside storage buildings. 

Youth ages 18 and older will work on the building site possibly that will be on site at the Metro Center completing tasks such as installing cabinets, hanging window and door molding, hanging doors, and installing shelving.
